September is here

What a wonderful month. I love it.

We had the greatest time at Sicily ever.
Wonderful landscape, hot weather, and wonderful people.

It was really good for us, we totally forgot about work and just enjoyed our time.

And now, the biggest thing that I can imagine is going on.
I took my last birth control pil on August 30th so that means I´m in the middle
of my first cycle where we are trying to have a baby.

It is so exciting!!!
I know that the chances are low to get pregnant in the very first cycle , but I can tell you that I
have a relly good feeling. I don´t know why…. .
Well, we will see in 2-3 weeks if the miracle started already or not….

So, that is what is going on here at the moment.
We are very very fine, work is O.K. (we don´t stress ourselfs anymore that much) we enjoy
good food, we love to cook these days and of course we are waiting for our baby. yeay!

Now

The countdown is over.
We are leaving for Sicily tomorrow.
We will stay two weeks, will be at a wonderful italian wedding and we will
enjoy ourselfs and life.

This vacation will be the best time in my life and I´m so excited about it.
And after this, there will start another exiting time in our lifes. 😉

Oh gosh!

I can´t belive I didn´t blog for over a month again.

I am so so sorry.

What happend in the last weeks?

I finally got a colleague at work. Yeay, I´m not alone anymore.
She is just great. I picked her by myself and I did the right choise.
She helps me a lot and finally I don´t feel despeprate anymore.

The summer in Germany is very …. up-and-down.
We had very hot days, very very muggy. And just one week later, it rains and
its cold again. And then, the last two days it was very hot and muggy again,
and since yesterday evening it rains and it is very cold and I consider to
wear socks again.

But I don´t complain about the weather. I don´t care.
Because, when we are going to Sicilia in … *counting* 29 days, it will
be very hot and very sunny there for sure. I will have my summer for
two weeks and this is all what I want and need.

My “plan” in the first place was, to skip my contraceptive pill now, in July
and wait what will come. But we talked again and we both decided, that we
want to enjoy our vacation in August without any sorrows about if I could
be pregnant already etc. . So I will skip the pill after our vacation, in the
beginning of September. This is really the best.
What if I´m pregnant and we are in this very hot area and I don´t feel
very well? We really want and need this vacation and we want to enjoy
it with full health.

So: stay tuned from September on 😉

Where is not so much more going here.
The house-thing is still on ice.
We just have to wait til they finally sell it and then to strike 🙂

I´m so sorry I havn´t wrote anything for almost a month …. again.
Its hard to keep my german blog running, its even harder with this one.
Sorry.

Well, what happened in the last days?
Not very much I have to say.
Oh, we bought a sinfully expensive camera 2 weeks ago. A Nikon D300.
Boy, we spent so much money, but its really worth it.
Georgie is totally into this and is taking pictures the whole day. 

Anybody interested in a about 200 pictures of me while I´m doing paperwork?

But I love it that he loves the camera so much. Its really cute.

There are 85 days left until our vacation in August (87 til we are going to Sizilia)
I´m literally counting the days. 
First, because of the vacation itself and
second, because I can´t wait to start trying to have a baby. *sigh*
I want it really hard at the moment, but I will wait til the vacation to enjoy
our maybe last journey as a couple.

So, that is all whats going on at the moment here in our lifes:
A lot of work, as always.
Enjoying our wonderful private life and the great weather.
Making a lot of pictures with our new camera.
Counting the days until our vacation
and I´m waiting and preparing to become pregnant. 😉

Everything is fine at the moment and I am totally happy.

Today is a public holiday in Germany (fathers day).
We will visit my parents in the afternoon and have barbecue in the evening.
Tomorrow we took the day off, so we have four free days in a row.
Great.

Sunday News

So, lets start with the plan to write more in this blog.

Last week I got a little crashing news.

“End of the year”
The woman from the organisation who owns the house told me this week on the phone
that they will probably sell the house at the end of the year, because they have a lot of
other objects, in other towns to care about; so this house is way at the end of the list.

This news disappointed me a lot.
What about my big plans for this year?
I thougt, if WE get the house (and not someone else who pays more money) we could
have it in May or June and start to renovate the house during the summer
(new windows, new roof, bathrooms…) and we could be done in fall and move in.
But now?
One big thing that bothers me about this is …. well…. I planned maybe to start to try
to get pregnant in fall. After the whole house-renovate-thing.
Because, I turn 30 at the end of next year and I always wanted my first child before
my 30th birthday and I would love to have a child that is born in (late) summer.

So, if we really get the house at the end of the year … I would have to work while
I´m pregnant and I don´t know if I would be such a good help.
And when we want to get a credit from the bank, I have to hide that I´m pregnant
because if they would know that I won´t have salary anymore soon, I´m not sure
if they would give us a credit that easy. (we already ask the bank and at the moment
it would not be a problem at all because we both have good jobs)

But, what do I care about things that haven´t happen yet?
Thats the plan-junkie in me.
Havn´t I learned that I can not plan life?

We will see what time will bring.
So much could happen in the next months….

 

New topic.

We went to the park before.
 I wanted to start my running-career and Georgie wanted to play
basketball.

I was down after just one damn minute running. I walked then, tryed to run again,
but it was the same. When I met Georgie again, he told me the same.
We are completly out of shape. (I guess I was never IN shape…)
And that embarresed us really.
We plan to go more often now in the park to make sport after work.
Spring is here finally (even if its still really cold) and this is really something
we should do.

Since March

we live in this house.

We are 7 Neighbours.

In this almost 10 months, I have n´t seen everybody or
speak much to anybody, except of a “Good Morning” sometimes. 

That is a little bit sad and so I hope they will like my little
gesture. 

I put this little bags secretly on the doors.
Hope they like it.

Halloween

I have to tell you something: We planned to go to a Halloween Party somewhere.
We didn´t know where, but we wanted to go to the city and see whats up.
But after dinner and movies:
he: you still wanna go out?
she: no, not really, I´m tired.
he: me neither, I´m tired too..
And so we stayed at home and had fun by making funny photos.

I think we are getting old……

But it was nice.
We had great food and a lot of fun.
Just one girl came for trick or treat…. well, its not so popular
in Germany.
